Building Trust with DiSC® Workshop A half-day DiSC trust workshop for leaders and teams
Trust is the foundation of strong communication, collaboration, and team performance. When trust is strong, people communicate more openly, follow through more consistently, and work through challenges with greater confidence. When trust breaks down, even well-intentioned teams can experience more conflict, guarded communication, and slower progress.
Building Trust with DiSC® is an experiential half-day workshop that helps leaders and teams understand how trust is built, where it breaks down, and how different DiSC styles approach trust in different ways.
Using Everything DiSC® Workplace on Catalyst™, participants explore how their DiSC style influences their natural trust-building strengths, potential blind spots, and the behaviors that may require more intentional effort. The workshop gives participants a practical language for discussing trust and a personalized path for strengthening the relationships that matter most.
What Participants Will Learn
During this DiSC trust workshop, participants will:
- Understand why trust is essential to effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration
- Explore the four behaviors that build and sustain trust: Acceptance, Openness, Reliability, and Congruence
- Discover how DiSC style needs and fears influence trust-building behavior
- Recognize why trust can break down even between capable, well-intentioned people
- Identify trust-building strengths and challenges associated with their own DiSC style
- Apply the Trust Within Model to better understand the values that support trustworthy behavior
- Create a personalized trust-building action plan using insights from their Catalyst profile
How the Workshop Works
This instructor-led training program is designed as a highly interactive half-day session. Participants work through practical activities, style-based discussions, and personal reflection exercises that connect trust-building concepts directly to real workplace relationships.
The workshop uses the Trust Within Model, a research-based framework focused on four essential trust-building behaviors and the values that support them. Participants learn that trust does not break down only because someone is untrustworthy. Often, trust breaks down because people have different priorities, communication preferences, and default behaviors.
By connecting the Trust Within Model to DiSC, participants gain a clearer understanding of how to adapt their behavior, bridge style differences, and build stronger working relationships.
